Local leaders of ruling and opposition political parties of different VDCs of Dolakha seem to be excited to help government in earthquake resistant building reconstruction. Lokraj Pathak, representative of Nepali Congress opined, “though its being late to help the victims of earthquake in reconstructing their homes, the initiation of NRA is appreciated.” Likewise, Ghanshyam Pathak, president of Laduk committee of CPN UML said, ‘there have been pessimistic rumors that in the name of grant distribution, government is deceiving the locals as in distributing the preliminary reliefs worth Rs. 10 Thousand,’ he added, ‘but we think there is somehow the gap of communication between us which we now will try to fill it up.
