17th ESD Earthquake Safety Exhibition
Honorable  Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Mr. Bamdev Gautam inaugurated  the Earthquake Safety Exhibition which targets to disseminate and  demonstrate various techniques of earthquake/disaster risk reduction.  The inauguration followed the National Meeting of 17th Earthquake Safety  Day. after National Meeting of 17th Earthquake safety Day. The  distinguished guests also observed the stalls placed there by various  governments, non-government and DRR related agencies. 
The Earthquake Safety Exhibition has remained integral component of  Earthquake Safety Day celebration since the very beginning. The  Exhibition will run for five days from January 16 – 20, 2015. This  platform helps facilitate the process of knowledge and ideas  dissemination through sharing various risk management and disaster risk  reduction efforts and initiatives among the stakeholders, professionals  as well as commoners.
