NSET honors National Poet Laureate MP Ghimire
National Poet Laureate Mr. Madhav Prasad Ghimire has been honored for his contribution to raise the public awareness on Earthquake Resilience. NSET President Mr. Shiva Bahadur Pradhanang and Executive Director Mr. Amod Dixit felicitated National Poet Laureate and bestowed him with Certificate of Honor in a special gathering organized on the very auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on July 22, 2013.
Upon request from NSET, National Poet Laureate Mr. Madhav Prasad Ghimire had kindly created lyrics on enhancing Earthquake Resilience some 4 years back. Country's renowned Senior Musician Mr. Ambar Gurung also upon NSET request had made precious contribution in composing music to the lyrics. The song has remained extraordinarily inspirational and influencing to and through Nepali minds and hearts.
On the occasion, National Poet Laureate put forward his keynote speech and also blessings to NSET family for every success of the efforts in making Nepal earthquake resilient.
On the occasion, NSET President Mr. Shiva Bahadur Pradhanang and Executive Director Mr. Amod Dixit also felicitated country's renowned personality for his lifelong contribution to the Literature, Philosophy and Journalism Mr. Madan Mani Dixit and also Senior Lyricist Mr. Ranta Samsher Thapa.
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, NSET Staff felicitated Mr. Shiva Bahadur Pradhanang and Mr. Amod Dixit as the Gurus - the source of inspirations and got blessed from the duo.
Earlier on June 18, 2013 while on the occasion of 20th NSET Day celebration, Senior Musician Mr. Ambar Gurung was felicitated and bestowed with Certificate of Honor on the cause mentioned above.
