Call for Proposals for Video Production under "Baliyo Ghar" program

National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) has been implementing USAID supported program "Baliyo Ghar" since 2015 to contribute to Nepal Government's safer reconstruction campaign. Coming to the end of program implementation, Baliyo Ghar Program is working with program municipalities, both rural and urban, in Dolakha, Nuwakot, Dhading and Kathmandu districts with the purpose of institutionalizing the efforts on safer reconstruction and community resilience. In the meantime, the program is also working to synthesize the learnings of reconstruction efforts in Nepal that would serve as reference for the future course of long-term resilience building of Nepali communities.
In this regard, NSET calls Proposals from Media & Advertising Agencies and Creative Teams to collaborate with NSET under Baliyo Ghar program for the production of videos on following themes:
1. Impacts and Learnings of Baliyo Ghar Program: This video intends to capture major impacts and synthesize key learnings of Baliyo Ghar program interventions at all levels, policy level to implementers to individual beneficiaries. There will be 15-minute master video and 5-minute summary video.
2. Standardized Guidelines and Curricula under Baliyo Ghar Program: This video intends to capture major impacts and synthesize key learnings of Baliyo Ghar program's First Intermedia Results (IR1): Standardized Guidelines and Curricula developed with contribution made from the program. There will be 10-minute master video and 5-minute summary video.
3. Enhanced Local Capacity under Baliyo Ghar Program: This video intends to capture major impacts and synthesize key learnings of Baliyo Ghar program's Second Intermedia Results (IR2): Enhanced Local Capacity through various training programs mason's training, OJT etc. conducted. There will be 10-minute master video and 5-minute summary video.
4. Increased Awareness under Baliyo Ghar Program: This video intends to capture major impacts and synthesize key learnings of Baliyo Ghar program's Third Intermedia Results (IR3): Increased Awareness through program's media and awareness activities. There will be 10-minute master video and 5-minute summary video.
Other conditions:
» Field visits required in each video to capture the impacts and learnings from the program areas. in program districts as required
» Narration should be in Nepali with English subtitles.
» Budget range for each video: NPR200,000 -300,000.
» Task delivery should be within 2 months.
Media & Advertising Agencies and Creative Teams that are interested to work on the above one or more tasks should submit sealed Proposal documents addressed to Executive Director, NSET and post to the following address or mail separate documents to procurement@nset.org.np before 5:30PM Nov 20, 2020.
