Call for Proposals for Weekly Baliyo Ghar Radio programs

Date of first publication: Sep 30, 2020
Date of second publication: Oct 16, 2020

National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) has been implementing USAID supported program "Baliyo Ghar" since 2015 to contribute to Nepal Government's safer reconstruction campaign. Coming to the end of program implementation, Baliyo Ghar Program is working with program municipalities, both rural and urban, in Kathmandu, Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading districts to institutionalizing the efforts on safer reconstruction and community resilience. In regard to address the issues of reconstruction and community resilience, local radios have been found one of the effective tools of awareness raising and very interactive platform for learning and sharing. For the next 6 months, NSET seeks for collaboration with different radio stations from the program areas to support the institutionalization process.

NSET now makes second call for proposals from the interested radio stations from Kathmandu Valley to produce and broadcast regular One Hour Baliyo Ghar Radio Magazine and PSAs in collaboration with NSET on promoting disaster resilient construction and building safer communities in Nepal. NSET plans to broadcast radio magazine and PSAs from one radio station from Kathmandu.

Interested Radio broadcaster should submit sealed documents addressed to the Executive Director, NSET and post to the following address or mail separate documents to before 5:30PM Oct 22, 2020. The detail call and Guidelines for Proposal are available at under Proposals / Sealed Bid section DOWNLOAD HERE.
