PEER Regional Master Instructors’ Workshop (MIW) kicks off in Kathmandu

A total of 28 Senior Instructors from PEER beneficiary countries are participating in the Regional Master Instructors’ Workshop (MIW), during November 26 - 30 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Dr. Amod Mani Dixit, PEER Chief of Party, highlighted in his welcome message, that PEER has been strengthening the emergency response capacities at the national and regional levels. Therefore, these PEER certified instructors of the Medical First Responder (MFR), Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) and Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE) courses are the most potential to take the lead in maintaining quality control and institutionalization of PEER in their respective agencies, in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan.

Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER) is implemented by NSET and funded by USAID/OFDA.
