Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER) is a regional training program initiated in 1998 by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) to strengthen disaster response capacities in Asia.

PEER Stage4 countries


PEER Stage 4 (2014-2019)

PEER Stage 4 is being implemented by NSET in four South Asian countries, namely, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan, with possible extension to other countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) which include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. PEER4 is a logical continuation of previous program implementation efforts by ADPC and NSET.
