BCIPN accomplishes one more MT at Central Region
NSET's Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) accomplishes one more Mason Training (MT) on “Earthquake Resistance Building Construction” at Central region of Nepal. Training conducted at premises of Siddarthnagar Municipality, Rupandehi, started at 2nd May completed at 8th May, 2016.
It was the third event of MT where 31 local masons and contractors actively participated the training. Training was jointly organized by DUDBC Division office Rupandehi, and BCIPN in collaboration with Siddarthanagar Municipality and with the funding support from USAID/OFDA
And, as awareness rising part of BCIPN program, an orientation program is conducted at Beshisahar Municipality, Lamjung targeting the Municipal professional, Political Leaders & Tole Lane Organization (TLO) members. Total 38 participants actively participated the program. Orientation conducted on 5 May 2016 at Hall of District Development Committee focused on building code implementation and the earthquake preparedness. Program was jointly organized by Beshisahar Municipality Office and BCIPN program funded by USAID/OFDA.
