BCIPN: One more MT accomplished in Triyuga Municipality
Triyuga Municipality, Udaypur has accomplished one more mason training on 2nd May 2016. Total 31 masons working within municipality area participated the 7 day course on 'Earthquake Resistant Building Construction'. This the 4the series of mason training provided by NSET's Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) program funded by USAID/OFDA.
Now there are total 127 trained masons and contractors available to build an earthquake resistance buildings in Triyuga Municipality area. Training program was jointly organized by Triyuga Municipality and National Society for Earthquake Technology Nepal-NSET’s BCIPN.
And as an awareness part of BCIPN program activity one day orientation about Earthquake Preparedness and Importance of Building Code was conducted at Triyuga Municipality to alarm the communitie. Total 45 people participated the orientation program. Similar orientation program was conducted at Damak Municipality targeting the house owners where 25 house owners participated the program.
