7th series of Mason Training completed at Putalibazar
As a part of NSET’s Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal-BCIPN, 7th series of Mason Training (MT) has been completed at Putalibazar, Syanja. In the training conducted at the premises of Putalibazar Municipality, 31 local masons and contractors actively participated the sessions.
With the objective to train masons for earthquake resilient construction starting on 9th April training completed on 25 April, 2016. With this training total number of 191 trained masons are prepared till date for disaster resilient building. Training was jointly organized by Putalibazar Municipality, Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Division Office, Kaski and NSET’s BCIPN funded by USAID.
