Earthquake Resistant Building Construction Training for the Masons and Contractors of Triyuga Municipality, Udayapur
29 Masons and petty contractors including 2 female participants from Triyuga municipality are now trained on Earthquake Resistant Building Construction. A 5 day training program on ‘Earthquake Resistant Construction of Building Training For Masons and Contractors’ was conducted in Triyuga municipality during 7-11 March 2014. The training program was jointly organized by Triyuga Municipality and NSET as a part of the Building Code Implementation in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN) program of NSET.
Enumerators Training Triyuga
In addition, ‘Enumerators Training to Conduct Baseline Survey" was conducted for the enumerators of the Triyuga Municipality on 14 March 2014 at the Triyuga Municipality Training Hall, Gaighat. A total of 20 enumerators from Triyuga Municipality were trained on conducting the baseline survey which included risk perception survey. The enumerators after receiving the training are now mobilized in the field for conducting the surveys and will do survey for 7 days.
As a component of Monitoring and Evaluation plan for the Building Code Implementation Program in Municipalities of Nepal (BCIPN), Baseline Survey is being conducted in all the 24 program municipalities.
