International Organization for Migration (IOM), in funding support of USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA),
is implementing "Implementation of Disaster Risk Management Localization Training at 702 Local Levels of Nepal" program
under phase II "Promoting Action for Disaster Risk Governance and Working to Achieve Preparedness for Risk Reduction
through Technical Assistance in Nepal (PARIWARTAN)" project. The project aims to assist the Government of Nepal to
enhance the disaster risk management governance at federal, provincial and local levels. The project will be executed in
Seven Provinces of Nepal by a consortium of three organizations, namely, The Lutheran World Federation (LWF), Practical
Action Consulting Pvt. Ltd. (PAC) and National Society for Earthquake Technology -Nepal (NSET) as consortium Lead.
The project is expected to complete all trainings to all 702 local governments by Oct 2022. The Project seeks applications
for the following positions from eligible candidates:

Main Responsibilities:
- Project management at province level as per the guidance from central team
- Maintain regular communication and reporting to the central team.
- Coordinate, plan and conduct trainings at province and local levels.
- Coordinate with DRRM trainers in planning and implementing activities.
- Coordinate with trainers provided by partners and conduct trainings.
- Prepare and compile activity reports and database of participants.
- Facilitate and attend meetings with province, district and local level as required.
- Prepare periodic reports, case stories and other reports as required.
- Identify appropriate location for project office.
- Represent consortium in province and attain meeting with stakeholders
- Facilitate monitoring and evaluation of training in coordination with program team
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Competent in English and Nepali typing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist Province coordinator for the administrative and logistic support for the training at province and local level. He/She is also responsible for the procurement, financial reporting and clearance.
- Explore and assist identifying appropriate location for project office and set up office in coordination with province coordinator.
- Assist Province Coordinator in coordination, planning and conduction trainings at province and local levels.
- Assist Province Coordinator in Coordinating with local authorities to conduct trainings.
- Prepare and compile activity reports and database of participants in coordination with Province coordination.
- Facilitate and attend meetings with province, district, and local level.
- Prepare periodic activity reports, case stories and other reports as required.
- Support in conducting DRRM training
- Support and facilitate monitoring and evaluation of trainings in coordination with program team
- Perform other duties as assigned
