Vacancy for Baliyo Ghar

National Society for Earthquake Technology- Nepal (NSET), with funding support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implementing a 5-year "Baliyo Ghar" program to contribute for safer reconstruction in Nepal. The objective of the program is to support the disaster-resilient reconstruction of houses through standardized training, awareness, demonstration, and support on code compliance.

NSET seeks application for the following position from eligible candidates. Interested candidates are required to the application through the online submission system no later than 5.30 pm on 15 Oct 2018.

1. Technical Officer – Engineer

No. of Positions: 4
Work Station Dhading, Nuwakot and Dolakha Districts
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Preferably 1-year experience in similar work (Fresh candidate can also apply)

2. Social Development Officer/Public Relation Officer

No. of Positions: 1
Work Station Nuwakot District
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Social Studies (Master Degree will be preferred)
Experience: Preferably 2 years of work experience in development sector/Earthquake Risk Management

3. Architect

No. of Positions: 2
Work Station Dolakha (Frequent visit to Kathmandu, NSET Head office)
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master’s in Urban Planning will be preferred)
Experience: Preferably 2 years of work experience in Planning and Construction
