Vacancy Announcement for Baliyo Ghar

National Society for Earthquake Technology- Nepal (NSET), with funding support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implementing a 5-year “Baliyo Ghar” program to contribute for safer reconstruction in Nepal. The objective of the program is to support the disaster-resilient reconstruction of houses through standardized training, awareness, demonstration, and support for code compliance.

NSET seeks application for the following position from eligible candidates. Interested candidates are required to the application through online submission system no later than 5.30 pm on 28 May 2018.

1. Technical Officer – Engineer

No. of Positions: 12
Work Station Dhading, Nuwakot and Dolakha Districts
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Preferably 1-year experience in similar work (Fresh candidate can also apply)

2. Social Development Officer


No. of Positions: 1
Work Station Dhading District
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Social Science/Social Studies
Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in community mobilization

3. Civil Sub-Engineer

No. of Positions: 2
Work Station Nuwakot and Dolakha Districts
Appointment Type: Full-time staff for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience: Preferably 1-year experience in similar work
