National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) is implementing a 5-year “Baliyo Ghar” program to contribute to safer reconstruction in Nepal with the funding support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The objective of the program is to ensure disaster- resilient construction of houses through awareness, training, demonstration and support on code compliance. The program aims to expand the technical knowledge and expertise gathered during the program implementation for achieving the broader goal of disaster resilient housing construction in Nepal. Baliyo Ghar program is focused in different municipalities and VDCs of Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading districts and also in Kathmandu valley.
NSET calls proposals from the interested radio stations from Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading districts and Kathmandu valley to produce and broadcast regular Baliyo Ghar Radio Magazine and PSAs in collaboration with NSET on promoting disaster resilient reconstruction in Nepal.
NSET also calls proposals to produce regular Baliyo Ghar TV program in collaboration with NSET on promoting disaster resilient reconstruction in Nepal and broadcast from national television channels.
Interested Radio broadcasters and TV program production teams should submit sealed documents addressed to Executive Director, NSET and post to the following address or mail separate documents to info@nset.org.np before 5:30PM February 19, 2016.
