Frequent information exchanges and dialogues among the organisations involved in risk mitigation and management are crucial, so as to complement one another's efforts and achieve much greater results in pre-disaster mitigation, and to promote well coordinated post-disaster actions. The Disaster Preparedness Network, DPNET, is formed for these purposes, and NSET is a member of this network.

NSET is the member of the supporting committee of the Transfer Live Lessons Network (TeLL–Net). TeLL-Net (Transfer Live Lessons Network) is an international network to transfer experiences and lessons of disasters across borders.
