To share ERRA’s policies, procedures
and programs for ensuring better reconstruction of building and infrastructure,
as envisioned through “Building Back Better”, and also to share
the achievements and successes as lessons learned for incorporation into
future strategies, plans and programs;

To learn from the global experiences and
good practices in Earthquake Risk Management and institutionalization of
Earthquake Risk Management (ERM) processes;
»
To sensitize all stakeholders on aspects
of earthquake risk management and to develop a consensus on the need, possibilities,
and means of disaster risk management in the country; and
»
To articulate the firm commitment of the
Government of Pakistan to develop and implement organized approaches for
managing and minimizing earthquake risk and mainstreaming disaster risk
management in the development process
