MOU signed with different intitutions

MOU between DPRI and NSET
Tsukuba, Japan March 1st, 2006
  NSET and Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University, Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding towards the establishment of Case Station and Field Campus (CASIFICA) with the aim of conducting action research interventions in the field of disaster mitigation and disaster preparedness in Nepal, and extend the cooperation for similar collaborative works at regional and international levels.

Yet another school was added to the list of schools where School Earthquake Safety Program of NSET is implemented. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Shree Adarsha Saul Higher Secondary School and NSET with an aim to increase earthquake safety of the school and minimize the earthquake risk of the school children, teachers, community people and the school building with earthquake resistant technology. The event took place on 22nd June, 2006 at District Development Office, Lalipur. Mr. Amod Mani Dixit, Executive Director NSET, Mr. Narhari Baral, LDO, Lalitpur, Mr Madhav Khadka, Chairman School management Committee, Mr.Bhim Sapkota , Principal and Mr. Amresh Tuladhar of Hanuman Onlus one of the donor were the signatories.

MOU between BDPC and NSET
Kobe, Japan January 19th, 2006
 

A MOU was signed between NSET and BDPC for enhancing cooperation and collaboration in areas of disaster risk management in Kobe, Japan during the launching ceremony of the International Transfer Live Lessons Network (TeLLNet) on 19 January 2006. Bangladesh is also a high seismic hazard country and BDPC is keen to implement earthquake risk management initiatives in cooperation with NSET.
NSET, on the other hand wants to learn from the rich experience of Bangladesh in Flood and Cyclone risk management. It is expected that the mutually complimentary cooperation will also assist in developing a better understanding of the disaster risk situation in South Asia and the ways to manage and minimize disaster risks. Signing of the MOU between NSET and BDPC was considered as the first event of cooperation under the auspices of TeLLNet.
