“Community Earthquake Learning Centre (CELC)”

How can you be a part of this important Endeavour?

NSET has completed the main construction works of CELC with the funds available with it collected from the various services fees and donation. However, many components envisioned are yet to introduce and integrate. The available funds are not sufficient to complete this dream project and hence NSET seeks support from all possible institutions and individuals. The support can be in the form of cash, materials, equipment, professional support etc. for the part or whole of the any or package of concept(s) which have been idealized in totalizing the shape and spirit of CELC functions.

Your support will be appropriately recognized

Special and permanent recognition will be provided as a lasting tribute to the efforts of donors and their concern in benefiting the community towards risk reduction. Recognition may be in the form of a named area, a plaque, a dedication wall, or other feature, at the discretion of the NSET Management Committee in agreement with the Donor. All donations will be thankfully received and individually acknowledged. There are many areas in the new building that could be linked to specific donations. All the well wishers, business community, individuals, institutions (Government and Non-Government) as well as individuals can donate the fund for the certain portions of the Centre like Emergency Information Center (EIC) cum Meeting Room, Community Disaster Mitigation Library & Media Center, Children Earthquake Learning corner, Masons Workshop, Earthquake Museum and Community Earthquake Learning Center etc.

Some examples of ‘naming’ or recognition opportunities could include:

The Mason Workshop portion of the Centre having 36.20 sq.m. with the unit cost of the construction of US $ 807.20 per sq.m that includes structural as well as the equipment cost. The potential donors may contribute around US $ 30, 000.00(approx) or equivalent to Nepalese rupees to build the Mason Workshop within the Center. After receiving the donation, the Mason Workshop will be named "DONOR NAME" Mason Workshop for ever. We will also put the donors’ names in a Brass Plaque in the main lobby of the Centre those contributing the amount of at least US $ 1000.00 or more.
These are just our pleading examples and we welcome discussion with potential donors so that we may together select the optimum recognition style within a range of options.
To show your interest for the support, please write to CELC/NSET at nset@nset.org.np or info@nset.org.np .
